Ivy and Flowers

Flowers are symbols of remembrance, particularly common from the mid-19th century.
Ivy symbolises friendship. As an evergreen and a resilient plant it also represents immortality and eternity.

This memorial is dedicated to Christopher Dixon (d.1874)
